It's Disimformation, don't pay attention to it, it's a confirmed fact 80% of the American people are against Amnesty in any form. These idiots should really give it a break , their not fooling anyone and there getting pathetic.

A coalition of groups supporting immigrant rights released a poll Tuesday that appears to turn conventional wisdom about immigration attitudes in the county on its head.
This says it all! No bias there, huh???

This article may say NC Times at the top, but if you read carefully, this survey was done in San Diego County in California, so I'm not surprised at the results of the poll! Click on the link, and the NC is not what I thought at first (North Carolina), but *North County*! I would think that there is a large hispanic population in San Diego so this is what I would expect. This is NOT in North Carolina!

"I think this poll shows there is a silent majority that believes we need practical solutions," said Andrea Guerrero, chairwoman of the Immigrant Rights Consortium of San Diego County, which commissioned the survey.

The coalition includes about 25 labor, legal and religious groups promoting comprehensive immigration reform.
Critics said Tuesday that the questions were biased.
    Well DUH!

You can bet the poll was designed with the questions worded to get exactly the response they got. It is so easy to do, and then folks who don't know any better think the poll is legit! What a crock!

Talk about media bias. This poll is a joke and you know they rigged the poll to get the type of answer they wanted!

The article should have never been written. It is completely incorrect.

Lets ALL write the editor and give poll results from "legit" polls that show the overwhelmingly support AGAINST amnesty!

The survey was conducted on the first 600 people who jumped the border fence.

    Ok, Patriot! How's this?

Oh, Sifuentes, you did it again! They pay you to write this junk? LOL! How about giving us some REAL journalism, not some of your small-minded agenda-based garbage over and over again?

Your article states "The survey of 600 likely voters in the county" would be 600 illegal aliens who picked up the telephone where they live IN THE SHADOWS in San Diego County.

The general population is NOT pro-amnesty nor are American citizens about to hand over full rights and benefits to illegal aliens who have committed crimes to get to America and live among us -- IN THE SHADOWS.

This mock-up, biased poll is not a bonafide poll, nor is the polling firm without an agenda.

How about writing about the latest Zogby poll taken last week? That poll shows that just 3% of Americans believe Congress is handling the immigration issue in favorable terms.

The Zogby poll also shows that illegal aliens who live and work within the U.S. are seen as a burden by 46% of Americans.

Guess that wouldn't sit too well with your illegal alien readership, now would it, Sifuentes?

survey was conducted between May 29 and June 3 by Santa Monica-based Fairbank, Maslin, Maullin & Associates, a firm with a long list of Democratic clients
Bised, inaccurate poll by a polling firm with an agenda. Note the polling firm has a "long list of Democratic clients."
