On Tammy Bruce's talk radio show tonight, she mentioned that she supports Rudy Giuliani for President. (You may recall that she was a strong voice against the Bush/Kennedy amnesty bill this past summer.) She did criticize Huckabee tonight for various reasons, but at least from the part of her show I heard, she didn't mention Giuliani's open support of mass amnesty.

But the vast MAJORITY [about 60%] of illegals use ‘points of entry’. An interesting PERSONAL observation on this, is that they just pay a small fee of $6.00 for a ‘temporary TWO DAY’ pass to visit: ‘Make Up a Name’ on the other side of the border; but they never come back, and MOST NEVER planned on it!

I DON’T feel sorry for the illegal alien just because he/she is working for say, $5/hr in the USA, [they're averaging MUCH more than that!] ..because the cost of living averages to be TEN times LESS in Mexico then here! So $5/hr translates to $50/hr for you and I! The majority of illegal aliens are not stupid, but just as GREEDY as their illegal employers! Of course I would ‘pick lettuce’ [etc] for $50/hr.. HERE!

..and NOT all illegals are being paid ‘cash’, and I'm getting tired of hearing they're working for ‘slaves’ wages! What a freaking JOKE! Right now, I'll guarantee you they're ALL working for MORE than $7/hr! At LEAST 50% of illegals are being paid by check. The problem is NOT ONLY are they taking CITIZENS jobs, AND/OR that they are committing fraud, AND/OR identity theft, AND/OR destroying someone else’s credit [and maybe life!], but most are also ‘claiming’ 3-10+ ‘dependants’, thus NOT paying ANY taxes! The illegals that are working for ‘cash’ [and MANY who aren’t], are ALSO claiming ‘poverty’ AND receiving subsidies!

She's not a Republican, or a conservative. She's a liberal, albeit of the more rational, JFK variety.

I agree with Populist. People need to contact her and express their concern.

I'm not saying it'll necessarily make any difference, but she needs to see the other side of the story, i.e. how Giuliani will be weak on terror, since the borders and our nation's ports are the choke points in the WOT. The last line of defense.

If you haven't already read it, check out her book--or screed--- The Death of Right and Wrong. It gives a pretty good insight into her orientation and background. She also fully addresses the assault on Western culture by leftists. It's quite an interesting read, particularly since she's been in the belly of the beast.

The support by radio talk show hosts in LA runs the gamut. So far we have John and Ken, Al Rantel, and Tammy Bruce for Guiliana. Hugh Hewitt and Mike Isler for Romney and Kevin James leaning in that direction. Then John Ziegler supporting Thompson.

Frankly, I don't give a hoot who they support. I'm sticking with TOM TANCREDO!!!

I think the terms 'New Deal Democrat' or 'Neoconservative' would apply to this description of Bruce. Neoconservatives have shown very clearly that they are not conservative in any traditional way. Their general worldview is that secular liberalism is the way, and it is their duty to spread that message. Socialism and communism were shown to be unworkable in 1991, and several popular books were written that argued spreading the gospel (The End of History, by Fuykama, for example).

I think the modern 'Right' and the modern 'Left' are largely illusions. Both sides agree on the fundamentals. They quibble over the details. Two heads on the same monster.

True. I guess "conservative Republican" was going a bit too far. But I only see her bashing the left at this point in her career. Even feminists and homosexual activists, even though she is both. I guess that is what sells on talk radio. She was the president of NOW, but now seems just like the other conservative talkers.
