This is scary! Americans have to do something but everyone I talk to isn't really concerned and I don't think they even want to hear it.

Its because the tv isn't telling them its a problem so it doesn't seem like a problem. People need to be told over and over again and day after day for it to sink in. I had to show my roommate examples everyday for a week. Now he understands, but he still don't want to hear it because it makes him uncomfortable. Americans don't want to leave their comfort zone.

Anyone who turns on the TV for a solution to our social problems is hopeless. The propaganda spewing out of our television sets IS the problem.

I threw out my television set 15 years ago, and I don't think I've missed out on anything. Anything.
