Tea Party announces boycott of McDonald's over their support of amnesty

On Wednesday, the Tea Party Immigration Coalition (TPIC) announced a boycott of several national restaurant chains which recently came out in support of amnesty for illegal aliens.

Last week, executives from more than 100 companies signed onto a letter addressed to Speaker of the House John Boehner and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, urging them to pass so-called 'comprehensive immigration reform' this year, which would not only grant amnesty to millions of illegal aliens, but would also greatly increase the number of legal immigrants admitted annually...a measure which would further displace American workers.

    The letter states:

We, the undersigned chief human resource officers of major corporations doing business in the United States, are writing to urge the House to enact legislation to fix the broken immigration system and work with the Senate to ensure that a bill is signed by the President this year.
    ...
Even with the economy still recovering, many of ourcompanies continue to have difficulty finding sufficient American workers to fill certain lesser-skilled positions.

Not surprisingly, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce applauded the letter and quickly issued their own in support of bringing more foreign workers to this country.

During a recent interview, TPIC founder John Stahl stated:

At a time when the number of working Americans is fewer than it has been in 35 years, and Food Stamp usage has hit an all-time high, it is beyond disgusting that these brands, which Americans have supported for decades are now turning their backs on those same Americans...This cannot be tolerated.

While most Americans have never heard of some of these companies, and we can understand that it would be difficult for many folks to switch their insurance coverage from Liberty Mutual to another company, it's rather easy to send these chains a message...You simply don't eat in their restaurants, stay in their hotels or drink their soda.

TPIC is sponsoring a boycott of the following businesses and products:

    -The Cheesecake Factory
    -Coca-Cola
    -CVS Pharmacy
    -Hallmark Cards
    -Hilton Hotels
    -Hyatt Hotels
    -McDonald's
    -Longhorn Steakhouse
    -Olive Garden
    -Red Lobster
    -Wendy's

The TPIC is urging all Americans who care about border security as well as the rule of law to stop patronizing the aforementioned businesses, immediately.

The citizens' advocacy group is currently drafting a letter explaining the boycott, which will be sent to all of those who signed the letter urging Congress to pass an amnesty bill.

These Companies owe no alligence to any country or political ideaology. They are willing to operate in countries with brutal repressive regimes because they are beyond moral principles which get in the way of commerce and profits whether slave labor conditions in china or child labor in india, dosen't matter long as those profits roll in. Welcome to the absence of corporate morality and fair play.
