    Texas: Can I vote in the primaries?

    Hmmm i am not familiar is Texas an open voting state? I am not registered to either party but I would love to vote for Romney to fight off the evil McCain who claims to be a conservative.

    please help.. im freaking out after today.

    Find out the precinct location. Some have both Dem and Rep elections in the same location but not all. When you vote, they stamp your card, Dem or Rep depending on the primary you voted in. Just show up at your precinct like you normally would, just make sure you are at the right party location.
