Duh .... I just realized this was from over 8 years ago. Things do change in that amount of time.

Besides that, I thought comprehensive immigration reform was our concern, not immigration reform. Some immigration reform would be a good thing, like a mandated national E-Verify program for example. Comprehensive immigration reform is not a good thing because it includes amnesty.

Immigration reform not necessarily a bad thing .... comprehensive immigration reform is a bad thing.

Russo's Tea Party Express is still headquartered in California.

Don't really understand the argument you're trying to make because even the Tea Party Express has supported various people who stand strongly opposed to illegal immigrant amnesty.

For example,

Davit Brat (Va)
Mark Meadows (NC)
Steve Toth (TX)

Okay, we've established that Russo is an amnesty sell-out. However, that has nothing to do with the many other Tea Party organizations throughout the country. These days there seems to be a sell-out in almost every crowd.

As far as Sal Russo goes, I saw him at our high school reunion and when I mentioned him belonging to the Tea Party he seemed embarrassed and quickly changed the subject. I so wanted to ask him his feelings about amnesty, but just like in school he gave that little smile and did a little sidestep.
