When I was a kid we were always looking for work...pop bottle collecting, lawn and snow service, broom pushing, car washing, construction cub apprentice work, food service (everyone I know once had a job at McDonald's), buss boy and coffee service...the list goes on and on...

What chances do kids have now to make a buck? What happened to all these kid jobs?

I could not have survived as a kid with out these jobs. My folks had no money. I started messing with them at about 6 years old and had a huge paper route by 11 years old. And I was working a gas station as a full service pumper washer and tire changer at 12. I LOVED IT!!!! I pulled weeds, bailed hay washed cars, mowed lawns...you name it...I did it. I was even seduced by a neighboring mom...which was of tremendous benefit to my future girl friends.

If I was a kid today...I can guarentee I would have been dealing drugs...I would have had to!

    What do kids have now?

I just U-Tube searched...Kids hurt by illegal immigration...not one thing came up. I think this is a huge issue.
It's an enormous issue. I worked since I was 14. My Dad rode on the back of a pick up truck all the way to California when he was 18 to pick fruit. Saved enough money to buy his first beautiful Chevrolet. My cousin a generation later drove an old car out to California to pick lettuce, did it every season for 4 years and used the money to pay for his college through the University of Kansas-Manhattan. He majored in electrical engineering and worked for AT&T until he retired a few years ago. Boys my age all worked the hay farms in the summer starting when they were 13 bucking hay bales. By the time they were 16 they had enough money saved to buy a new Camaro or GTO, and souped up ones too. VRRRRM.
I was born and raised on a Dairy Farm in Michigan. I not only milked , fed ,and bedded the cows, cleaned the barn, worked the fields and chopped wood, we also had a Logging business on the weekends and Holidays. We cut pulp wood (hard wood and pine) into 8 ft logs for the Forestry and hauled it to a paper mill on Lake Michigan.
During the seasons (for many years) my Mother and Sisters, along with hundreds of other Families would go up north and pick cherries. From what I've heard, many still do that.
Many Americans still work in agriculture and enjoy it and profit from it. But too many others have been shut out from these opportunities by illegal immigration, and it needs to grind to a halt. My grandfather was a dairy farmer and all his kids including my mother worked on the farm. They have fabulous memories from those days.

We used to do those jobs. That is what made this country so great.

Now we don't and it is not so much.

I blame it on the socialism. We have all of the attributes, without the realization of socialism. Like my mom used to say, "The thing that makes socialism fail is that if everyone gets an equal share of everything, why work hard?"

We have had a stealth socialism for decades. The arrogance of those in the government can be explained by the fact they no longer need us for funding. They just print up what they want despite us and have their way with the world.

When ever they spend money for anything they don't have it devalues the honest money that people have. Even if your someone in Holland that just sold some tulips and excepted U.S. Dollars in exchange for them. If you don't get rid of the money instantly you will suffer the devaluation and the effects of stealth socialism.

Look at this chart showing the devaluation of our currency based on the consumer price index. For decades the currency was tied to real assets like gold, silver, wheat, or other hard goods. It's value remained stable. Then as you can see that in times of war when our government injected fake money into the system the value of our currency dropped (bumps on chart).

See what has happened in the last three decades? That is the effects of stealth socialism. Even though we don't really realize what has been happening we still have been smart enough to know to not work hard. What is the use? Besides everyone gets an equal share of everything.

The illegal aliens will be getting their equal share of health care no matter what we do it seems. No matter how much we put up to get our way the socialist can print up fiat money to push their agenda through. Maybe not this time but they will push and push and push until will buckle or miss a beat.

P.S. I'm reading that we just sent the United Nations $648 million to family planing assistance in third world countries. Money we didn't have.

P.S.P.S. I've picked watermelons, strawberry's, and harvested wheat, soybeans, and corn. It was the healthiest I ever was in my lifetime. I'm not sure I could cover cost doing it now as not only would I have to be able to support myself but the cost of world domination worked into the deal by stealth.

Absolutely. I love that video and have posted it all over the place. Every American needs to watch this video from numbersusa, featuring Roy Beck who describes the exponential growth of immigration by using gumballs in large jars. You see this and if you didn't understand it before, then you will from watching it. Likewise, you'll understand why so many of us who follow population issues are so concerned and believe illegal immigration which is even larger than the legal immigration Roy Beck addresses in his video is a survival crisis situation for the United States.

It is a much more understandable analysis. I seen this video when Roy first came out with it.
Also, the more you watch it, the more understandable it is. Even if you understand it the first time.
Have you seen the expression on some of the peoples face in the audience?

Yes, it is an outstanding excellent presentation that explains this problem so everyone can understand the magnitude of it. You can see the shock of reality of what's happened on the faces of the people in the audience.

Every American needs to see this Immigration Gumballs video of Roy's presentation on the numbers of immigration.

I like to aggrevate them too. I was receiving newsletters from La Raza and sending back just the opposite of what they requested.
That pissed Janet off., so she remove me from the list

His video with tubes is also pretty good for giving you an idea of how the numbers have changed.
