Thousands Protest French Immigration Bill

PARIS - More than 11,000 people marched through Paris on Saturday to protest a bill that would stiffen rules for immigrants in France and give authorities power to choose who can enter.

Protesters shouted "Solidarity with immigrants!" Many wore stickers showing an immigrant being tossed into a trash can. Demonstrators marched to a square near the Interior Ministry and the headquarters of the governing conservative party.

Police said 11,200 people turned out to protest Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy's bill; organizers put the figure at 35,000. It was France's largest march in support of immigrants in years.

The bill would make it more difficult for poor immigrants with little education and few skills to start a new life in France.

Sarkozy, a presidential hopeful in next year's elections, says France should take a more pro-active approach to immigration, an argument that gained resonance after riots ripped through heavily immigrant French suburbs last fall and forced France to rethink its model of integration.

The plan would create a three-year "competence and talent" residence card for foreigners whose skills would "constitute assets for the development and influence of France." Lawmakers began debating the plan early this month, and a first reading is planned next week.

Many Christian and Muslim leaders _ whose institutions often provide support services for immigrants _ have joined human rights groups, labor leaders and the opposition left in expressing concerns about the bill.

Gassama Mady, president of a group of illegal immigrants, called the law "inhuman."

"We will continue to fight until this law is repealed," Mady said.

THIS IS NO ACCIDENT, guys. The groups pushing in the US are the same working in Europe.

Many of these groups formed originally during VietNam and were instrumental in the protests here. Originally getting funding from the Soviet Union. These groups are offshoots and are funded by Soros and others in concert to create a one world more affiliated with the UN.

PS: one of their goals is to "disarm the world....especially the USA."

I'm just amazed at the audacity of these people that have illegally entered a country and then demand the country not enforce their laws ....

Lovely ain't it? The global monetary war chest against the United States of America is in the billions. As the truth is stated... "Money is the root of all evil". We need to stop trying to kill such movements by chopping them off at the stem and start digging at the ROOT.

The group that was in Greensboro that was protesting against the Minuteman rally was the International Socialist Workers Party. All the socialist groups work together. Soros is a "big" socialist.

If anyone remembers their history and what happened durning the Bolshevik Revolution, yoy will recall the millions that were killed during the communist regime of the Soviet Union, under Lenin and Stalin.

The Socialist movement is rampant in our collages and universities. Be on gaurd, these are the same types that started that revolution, which is the redistribution of wealth. Which sounds good, till they come to take from you, to give to those that haven't worked as hard.

Billions? It's worse than that, because many of the powers behind globalization are the very entities that that make and loan the world's legal tender (fake money). It would be more appropriate to say that there is an interminable supply of money in the war chest being used against us, and that we are feeding that war chest with every penny of interest we "repay" on the IOUs they pass off in the place of lawful (backed) currency.

This fight will not be won with money, but with faith and determination. God gave us this country and God will allow us to keep it if we do our parts.

I'm thinking that we are the root. We've allowed this to happen. We were busy trying to "enjoy life" or let someone else take care of the problems, or any of a number of other excuses for not staying on top of things. Every time some one doesn't want to be on a jury, or doesn't want to vote, or doesn't read the full text of an article and only reads the headline. Little by little we have allowed our nation to become socialized.
Every time we're told that there is no right or wrong, only gray. Every time we're told that we must be tolerant. Tolerance should not mean complacent or ignorant or accepting of things that we know are detrimental to the very fabric of our nation.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: illegal immigration is the tip of the iceberg.

The May 1 Protesters - A day with out an illegal were all chanting Si Se Puede---sounds like Ce Ce Puedes. They are Socialist!!!!!!!!!!

Then go out and find May 1 Protest video online. Watch for red flags, ANSWER hats and vest, images of Si Se Puede, black hats... and listen for the chants.

We are finding out (hopefully not to late) that communism and marxism is alive and well and these organizations have been working on taking down America for a while now. They are raising their ugly head because they feel all of us that remember are dying out and they have programmed our children to follow blindly to the slavery that they have in store.
