    Is it time to shut down the switchboard in DC over the Syrian Refugees?

    It may be past time to hit the streets also.

    I don't try to influence the liberal Congressmen in my state. I do send the Numbers USA faxes, since I don't have to spend any time drafting them, but I would only anticipate very low levels of change. If you have some that are on the fence it could do some good, but I would rather try to influence the GOP controlled Committees. I have put contact addresses on here many times. The Chairmen can control what comes up before their Committees, and maybe they can get some things done via that route. Chuck Grassley chairs the Senate Judiciary Committee. People should not stop trying to be an influence.

    I think Americans are going to need to show we are willing to go way beyond calling offices in DC this time.
