WAUKEGAN -- Free diabetes screening, blood pressure checks and nutritional information will be available at a health fair from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Waukegan Public Schools Welcome Center, 742 W. Greenwood Ave.

An "All Kids" health insurance program representative will enroll low-income children, regardless of citizenship. There also will be registration for low-cost health insurance for low-income adults.

I am in the same place your are. We have to make sure our grandchildren have a future in this country. Leaving is not an option. This is our country and the cause is worth fighting for.

A friend of mine works for WIC and I feel also
disgusted by the things she tells me.

For starters, she had to learn Spanish because the participants
will not speak English even if they knew enough to get by.
When asked about their income most lie in her face by
saying they make $300 a month for a household of five or six
and she is not allowed to verify their income level, not even question
it.

When her office is short staffed and cant take walkins, some
of the illegals, getting everything for free, throw a fit because they have
to return with an appointment first.

I dont think I have the stomach to live it day in day out.

Say, if your S.S. benefits are only $300, S.S.I. will make up the difference with full benefits of S.S.I. illegals given amnesty in 1986 who have not paid enough into S.S. will benefit from S.S.I. which is Supplemental Social Security.
There is no wonder the system is going broke. It is because of low wage earners paying very little into the S.S. system but receive all the benefits.
The wives who may not have worked at all will benefits off the S.S. of their husbands. Which mean they and their husbands receive benefits from the same amount of S.S. paid in.
You would likely receive more benefits if you give up you American citizenship, go to Mexico and apply for citizenship, come back into this country illegally and get all the benefits of being illegal.
In Oregon, the state will pay half of you mortgage if you are a low wage earner buying a house.Low interest loans are given to buy a house under H.U.D. for low income people. I am sure illegals are qualifying.
If illegal do not have to prove citizenship and cannot be asked, I am sure they are benefitting from the Great American Give Away.
