One thing I've noticed about the huffing post is that we do have some support there for our position

we have support amoung the liberals , but the progressives are WAY WAY WAY out there . to them everyone is "human" so we should all be equal etc ... they don't have love for their fellow american ... when i think of our people , i think of us as family ... they do not think of us as family , they think of us as strangers , and it makes me sick ...

I kept imagining high rise concrete buildings, where each person or family had a determined amount of space, where the use of utilities was determined on a carbon footprint, where your lights were allowed to be on only at certain times, where the government locked your thermostat at a predetermined level, where you had to walk for your food rations, where the government decided what job was necessary for you to do, where a new flag would be designed to acknowledge the incorporation into the global government, the New World order, where cameras and vehicles would monitor your every move, with x ray capabilities, and how much jail or prison time you would receive if you spoke against the State, failed to follow the leader, or quoted from the Bible.

The event today should make more people see the need to make wise voting decisions.

I am a white American of German decent , My great grand parents came here thru Ellis Island legally
I have never taken a dime in welfare , unemployment or any other charity, I don't have much , but what I do have is a 30+ year pension and the thought that what I do have is mine, I worked for it , paid for it and didn't depend on the govt for anything ,
I didn't swim a river or jump a fence , I don't hold the govt accountable for what happened 200 years ago , I took care of myself , it wasn't hard , I learned a trade , performed it well and still am (for a few more months) I did a good job for the big corp I work for and they in turn took pretty good care of me.

I have no sympathy for these whiny "victim" supporting liberal idiot morons , if thats harsh , I apologize.

I don't support illegal aliens but I have no animosity toward those that come , they come because they can and our govt allows it , Their own countries are a wreak , but that does not give them the right to invade mine and take what is mine, nor does it give them the right to change my country into a hideous parody of their own , the one they fled.

I don't hate gays, or Jews , or mexicans or anyone else unless they try to take a bigger slice of the pie by taking part of whats mine , that I worked for.

I think its extremely important that we ally with those on the left who support our views on illegal immigration. Many are actually consistent with their anti-corporatist views, and are completely compatable with our movement. We can't let this debate degenerate into a Left vs. Right, lib vs con, Dem vs Rep issue. That just serves to divide and conquor. Illegal immigration is an American issue and crosses party lines and political ideologies.

A collection of more than 400 left wing organizations, including the Communist Party USA and other socialist groups, descended on the nations capitol in what was billed as the "One Nation Working Together" rally.

While no official crowd estimates were available at the time of this writing, photos of the event showed that far fewer attended this rally than the rally recently held by Glenn Beck. The New York Times reported that, "Tens of thousands of union members, environmentalists and peace activist" showed up at the Lincoln Memorial - the same site used by Glenn Beck. The Los Angeles Times said that "Thousands of activists from groups that support the Democratic Party" were in attendance.

The meeting started with an opening speech by MSNBC host Ed Schultz, whose message of "unity" was rife with with attacks upon conservatives.

"The conservative voices of America, they are holding you down," said Schultz. "They don't believe in your freedom. They want the concentration of wealth. They've shipped your job overseas...They suppress your vote," Schultz said.

Claiming the rally had the blessings of God, Schultz said progressives and liberals, "must fight the forces of evil, the conservatives in this country across the board want it for them." Schultz's message of "evil conservatives" was echoed by other speakers at the rally.

CSPAN carried the event live, and streamed it on their website, however, their website used pictures from a Glenn Beck Tea Party rally, as shown at gatewaypundit, apparently in an attempt to make the rally appear larger than it really was.

The rally was part of an effort by liberal organizations to bolster support for left wing causes and help Democrats stave off a major defeat in the November election.

Hey guys there are many Dems who are neither left, liberal or Progressive. At one time we were called moderates. Many of us have woken up to find our party completely changed. There are also alot of old time union workers who are outraged at what the unions are doing.

Rally's showing progressives, socialist, marxist and union members side by side just might be the final straw to any loyalties in some of their die hard members.

The two party system should be the definition of "FAILURE" In the dictionary. We no longer have seperation of power, seperation of state,or any form of checks and balances within Congress because the party In power makes up new rules as It goes along WITHOUT REGARD TO THE CONSTITUTION. As an example, there Is no place IN THE CONSTITUTION that gives the Federal Government an {Exlusive right} to control Illegal Immigration,yet here we are with a far left PROGRESSIVE judge that makes a ruling that goes against everything that the CONSTITUTION says. The executive branch Is bypassing Congress and being allowed to file suit against a State that has a DUTY and a RIGHT to protect It's citizens !! The Democrats passed a 3 Trillion dollar entitlement program without ONE Republican vote by changing the rules of procedure In Congress. The entire system Is broken,and It Includes the Federal Reserve that Is attached at the hip to the Federal Government. It will take many election cycles and a more Informed voting public to make the changes that are needed to restore our REPUBLIC.... TS
