Tom Tancredo is host of "Tea Party Radio," heard weeknights from 10pm to Midnight on KVOR.

He represented Colorado's sixth congressional district in the US House Of Representatives from 1999 to 2009, as a Republican. He ran for President of the United States during the 2008 election, and was the Constitution Party's unsuccessful nominee for Governer of Colorado in 2010.

Tancredo was initially elected to the Colorado House of Representatives in 1976 and served two terms. After working in the United States Department of Educationduring the Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bushadministrations, he was elected to the United States Congress, and served five terms. He decided to not seek re-election in 2008.

Tancredo ran for the Republican Party nomination for President in 2007, centering his campaign on the issues of illegal immigration and terrorism.

Tom Tancredo is the future of the State of Colorado. Period.

The only reason he lost the election for Governor this last fall is because he waited until August or September to get his name on the ballot.

Next time around I'm sure he won't make that mistake again and he will win.

Then, Colorado States version of the "Arizona Law" will be established.
