Bill Ford, the Chairman of Ford Motors, called Donald Trump tonight and said he will be keeing the Lincoln plant in Kentucky- Not Mexico.

Trump tweeted the news tonight–

Just got a call from my friend Bill Ford, Chairman of Ford, who advised me that he will be keeping the Lincoln plant in Kentucky – no Mexico

Two months ago Donald Trump said Ford moving its plants to Mexico was a disgrace.

Oh my God, this is such wonderful news!! I hope they also announce that they will continue to build their small cars in the United States, and that Ford, GM and Chrysler, all American car and parts companies, will NOT move any more production out of the United States. Our automotive industry is one of the pillars of our economy because of the high multiplier effect of car production.

Thank you Bill Ford, thank you Ford Motor Company, and THANK YOU DONALD J TRUMP!!

Trump is going to unite our country and citizens at all levels. Doing the right things and having the courage to stand up and fight for the right things has a natural tendency to do that.

Yes, it is good news Judy and before I posted it I checked Donald's twitter and sure enough it is true.

LOL!! No offense, but I checked his twitter, too. So much fake news out there, I guess we're all going to be vigilant from here on! Trump Twitter is really one of the best sources now for important news. I check it off and on all day, but missed this one. Thank you again for reporting such great news!! I think Ford will be a leader for other manufacturing companies. It would be marvelous to have Boeing recall their decision to build that massive new plant in China. Is that too much to hope for??!!

Please Boeing. Do not build your beautiful planes in China. I know Ted Cruz and his band of crazies who wanted to take your Export Import financing away caused that decision, but Congress did eventually fix it. So please tell China, you've reconsidered and cancel that debacle. Americans will not want to fly on planes made in China.

This reminds me of another major reason Ted Cruz should not be in a Trump Administration in any capacity and why Texas needs to run him out of the US Senate. He's Cuckoo Bird who has caused real harm to our nation.

You need to get past the hate. I think you've already done enough alienating of former Cruz supporters. Personally, despite you, I still think highly of Ted Cruz. Heck, I hope he ends up on the U.S. Supreme Court! Why continue this divisive talk now that Trump has been elected? You know there are some of us still around here that supported him before he was eliminated in the primaries. Why would you purposely attempt to get under our skin? I just don't get it. Cruz was right to fight the Export-Import Bank. It was nothing more than corporate welfare on the backs of U.S. taxpayers! If Boeing ends up in China, it's on them, not Cruz. Their move is all about greed and nothing more. We should not allow corporations to hold us hostage with their threats! He was also right in his 21 hour Obamacare filibuster attempt. He's a good man that would serve us well in the U.S. Supreme Court.

LET IT GO, PLEASE.

Running our most complex, highest paying, most technologically advanced manufacturer to China for the first plant EVER built by Boeing in its 87 year history outside of the United States is DEAD WRONG.

But if you think Cruz was right for running jobs and factories out of the United States, then just wear it and take the heat for it.

I WILL NEVER LET IT GO.
