Trump order calls for weekly list of crimes done by undocumented workers

President Trump in the executive orders he signed Tuesday called on the Department of Homeland Security to publish a list each week of the crimes committed by undocumented immigrants.

The order says the Homeland Security Secretary “shall utilize the Declined Detainer Outcome Report or its equivalent and, on a weekly basis, make public a comprehensive list of criminal actions committed by aliens and any jurisdiction that ignored or otherwise failed to honor any detainers with respect to such aliens."

The aim, according to the document, is “to better inform the public regarding the public safety threats associated with sanctuary jurisdictions.” The two orders signed by Trump on Tuesday call for the construction of a wall on the United States’s southern border with Mexico, in addition to stricter immigration enforcement policies. The one order will strip federal funding of so-called “sanctuary cities.”

Trump made immigration a focal point of his presidential campaign, telling Americans that he would build a border wall that Mexico would pay for.

On the campaign trail, he often cited crimes committed by undocumented immigrants in the United States, and multiple times appeared at events with family members of those who were victims of crimes committed by undocumented immigrants.

“They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some I assume are good people,” Trump said in June of 2015 of illegal Mexican immigrants crossing the southern border when he officially launched his presidential campaign from the lobby of Trump Tower in New York City.

In a new interview with ABC News, Trump said the construction of the wall could begin in a few months.

Yes, planning has already started and we'll see action on the wall in a few months, maybe sooner. He can't wait to start building this structure.

Did not even know about the Declined Detainer Outcome Report, Obama has known about all these illegal aliens committing hundreds of thousands of crimes and did nothing about it all these years. This should be very interesting as none of this information was released anywhere and I am sure the crime rate of illegal aliens is about to get much higher. He is doing this to justify pulling funding from Sanctuary cities and he will get it.
