In a pair of Sunday morning tweets, President Donald Trump took aim at the Democrats, declaring that DACA “is probably dead” because “Democrats don’t really want it.”

“DACA is probably dead because the Democrats don’t really want it, they just want to talk and take desperately needed money away from our Military,” Trump tweeted.



Trump tweeted the message despite the Tuesday ruling by U.S. District Judge William Alsup in San Francisco that the Department of Homeland Security’s “decision to rescind DACA was based on a flawed legal premise.” The judge called the move to rescind DACA benefits “arbitrary” and “capricious.”

Alsup ruled in favor of the University of California, ordering the Trump administration to resume DACA renewal applications while challenges to the September order are considered in the courts.

In a second Sunday morning tweet regarding immigration, Trump demanded and end to U.S. immigration lotteries.

“I, as President, want people coming into our Country who are going to help us become strong and great again, people coming in through a system based on MERIT. No more Lotteries! #AMERICA FIRST,” Trump tweeted.

Trump: DACA Is 'Probably Dead' ... and I'm Not a Racist

President Trump said Sunday the Deferred Action Childhood Arrivals program is “probably dead” thanks to Democrats.

“DACA is probably dead because the Democrats don’t really want it, they just want to talk and take desperately needed money away from our Military,” Trump wrote on Twitter.



He reiterated the remark to reporters at Mar-a-Lago Sunday evening, saying that he and congressional Republicans were “ready, willing, and able to make a deal” on DACA “but Democrats don’t want to.”

A deal on immigration reform is being worked out between the president and Congress as part of a spending bill that must pass by Friday if a government shutdown is to be avoided. Republicans want funding for border security and changes to chain migration and the visa lottery program if a deal on protecting DACA recipients is made—a point he also brought up on Twitter Sunday.

Trump blamed the Democrats for refusing to budge.

"They don’t want security at the border," he said about Democrats Sunday night. "They don’t want to stop drugs. And they want to take money away from our military, which we cannot do."

"The folks from DACA should note, the Democrats are the ones that aren’t going to make a deal," he added.

He also insisted he isn’t a racist, following a report that he referred to Haiti, El Salvador, and African nations as “sh*thole countries” during a bipartisan immigration meeting last week.

"I'm not a racist," he told one reporter. "I am the least racist person you have ever interviewed. That I can tell you."

Yes it is, European Knight. This President is our last and only hope to save this country. And so far, he's on a roll with his Trump Train that is spinning heads faster than we can count the revolutions, and is doing so by simply reversing the policies that caused this disaster. More to reverse, more work to be done, some of the reversals will take time, like fixing these horrible trade deals, but there is only one person who can and will do that, and it is President Trump. Immigration will take longer than we want, but the reality is he can't pass the needed legislation to solve that problem until we have a Real Majority in the US Congress to pass the immigration bills we want and need and appropriate the funds for border security and interior enforcement.

Anyone looking for 'greener pasture" will end up with a green painted field of dead grass.

Republicans could actually make some gains this year. The Senate Democrats have a larger number of contested seats and many are in states that went for Trump. Although I think she's a bit crazy I would like to see Michele Bachmann run for Franken's seat in Minnesota. Menendez is pretty vulnerable. We might see some other Republican upsets. The trick is that they have to work to get out the vote, typically a low priority with GOP.

I agree Captainron. I think all this doom and gloom based on history of midterms in first Presidential term which is President's party always loses, is misplaced. They lose because they didn't do anything Americans wanted them to do. Trump will be different. He's going to do everything he said he was going to do that he can do with no real majority in the Senate. Everyone who wants more done like on immigration for example that requires legislation must understand, we need more Republicans, not DemoQuacks, to truly Make America Great Again, so we can pass the bills we want and need and appropriate money and resources, which can't be done right now because we don't have 60 votes in the Senate.

FIGHT HARD AND SMART REPUBLICANS!! We can do this. It's just getting the truth out to everyone so they know all the good things done and all the good things to come, but we need more Republican Senators and House members for the more to come!!
