More information will be sent out soon, but here are some quick updates:

1. It has come to light that UNIVERSITY OF CALIFORNIA POLICE arrested
Jesus Gutierrez! They then called I.C.E. to initiate deportation
proceedings. UC-Berkeley' s involvement in this arrest is even worse
than we previously thought - they were the initiators and instigators.
The City of Berkeley has a SANCTUARY POLICY forbidding its police and
employees from cooperating with ICE. However, the University of
California thinks it is above the wishes of the Berkeley community.

2. Currently, the next UC-Berkeley demonstration planned will be
Wednesday, May 13th, 12:00PM at Sproul Plaza.

3. If you are in another city and/or school, get your organization,
union, club, city council, student government, etc., etc. to pass a
resolution calling for (1) the immediate release of Jesus Gutierrez,
(2) the firing of the UC-Berkeley individual(s) responsible for this
attempt at deportation, (3) that UC-Berkeley become a sanctuary
campus, and (4) call on Obama to pass the Dream Act, which means
LEGALIZATION for undocumented college students. Also, demand that YOUR
school become a sanctuary campus as well! We must make this the spark
for a statewide and national movement!

4. On YouTube we have posted video footage of Berkeley's full rally
from Wednesday, and also news coverage from Telemundo and Univision
(where it was the top lead-in story):

Um I must have missed it, what MSM station is following the story of the freezing temps in Hell? I mean, it has to be freezing over if Berkeley did the right thing.

However Berkeley the City thinks it is above federal law.

So UC Berkeley police did the right thing, called ICE and now these traitors in the pro-illegal alien movement who want "sanctuary cities", are all upset.



GO BERKELEY! Call ICE every time. Deport every time. And over time, we will solve this outrageous illegal immigration problem in the United States.

Who ever wrote that is an idiot. The University has a seperate policing jurisdiction from the city. Duh, that's why they have their own police department. It's like a city within a city.

Yes!! I can't believe I get to say this - Kudos to UC-Berkeley! Did hell freeze over??!! Are pigs flying??!! (I know, I know - swine flew.)

Notice they are not telling anyone what the IA did and we know it must have been horrific if UC arrested him and called ICE.

So alot of people will be protesting his arrest and he may be a drug dealer,a rapist or worse.
