UNBELIEVABLE: Obama’s Justice Department Bans the FBI from Singling Out Muslims in Counterterrorism Investigations



United States law enforcement agencies have now been ordered to completely ignore suspects’ religion in counterterrorism operations, for fear of offending Muslims.

Attorney General Eric Holder told his Justice Department to expand the definition of “racial profiling” to now include religion. So now when the FBI is monitoring and apprehending terrorists, the agency is “not allowed” to single out persons of interest based on their Islamic faith.

That’s like telling law enforcement not to single out Russians during the Cold War.

How far can political correctness possibly go?

The Obama administration capitulated to the criticism from civil rights groups that the U.S. government was especially vigilant in singling out Muslims during counterterrorism operations and Latinos in immigration cases. Gee, I wonder why?

In 2003, President George W. Bush banned profiling, but with two exceptions: 1) in cases of national security and 2) it only applied to race and ethnicity, not religion.

Now, the Obama administration is putting Americans’ safety at risk. Democrats, however, are supporting the president and Holder’s decision. “These exceptions are a license to profile American Muslims and Hispanic-Americans,” said Sen. Richard J. Durbin (D-IL).
