Heads up: This bill includes a pay raise for Congress (but they have NO $$$$ for Hurricane Helene victims?! Although I think this bill includes some $$ for them, but up until now, they have NOT had $$ and people are living in tents in freezing temps!!)

House approves funding bill and sends to Senate hours before government shutdown deadline The House approved a new plan late Friday from Speaker Mike Johnson that would temporarily fund federal operations and disaster aid. The bill was approved 366-34 and now goes to the Senate.
