If he were alive Ceasar Chavez would protest against this jerk. Manuel Chavez would kick Calderon's butt.

I've tried to search for details, but the only place I found that had specs for a counter-protest-from socialists, not our side-led me to a dead page.

Can anyone help me with the specific hour-or general time frame-so I can inform my fellow NY ICErs about this?

His meeting with Bush and the prime minister for the SPP is not until April and it will be held in the U.S., can't remember the details but we will hear plenty about it before hand.

    No.

Calderon's speech to The Council of the Americas in Manhattan tomorrow.

I need to know what time it's going to occur.

The Black Bloc is organizing a huge caravan of some sort in Cambridge-I have the specific time for that-but I have no idea when his appearance in NYC is going take place.

Oh i thought you were asking about the SPP meeting between the 3 country heads in April.

maybe they don't want the public to show up... try checking out the "council of America" web site.

    The Google thing...

All it came up with was a speech he gave to an economic club in Chicago last week.

    Good suggestion though.

Right now on I'm his webpage, which is no help either.

The Prensa (Press) section has nothing about this.

I visited the COA website and it's completely tight about this event.

I even asked one of my fellow NY ICErs to contact them by phone and all she got was an automated voice message.

One thing is for sure. Calderon will lodge at the Waldorf.

Tell the NY-ICE to set up a protest outside the Waldorf at night.

Okay, the Ban Ki-Moon meeting is scheduled for Monday-although it says "subject to change"-so I don't know if that's going to hold.

    The Waldorf Astoria in Midtown?

    Is that for certain?

    YES. Very certain.

The leader (Felipe Calderon) will have dinner in private upon his arrival on Sunday with the Rockefeller Foundation, and he will lodge at the Waldorf-Astoria. On Monday he will visit at 10:30 a.m. the secretery general on the UN Ban Ki-moon.
