Utah Compact Supporters Turn Veterans Day Into Amnesty Day

Rather than celebrating Veteran’s Day and honoring the millions of veterans who have served their nation, advocates for illegal aliens used Veteran’s Day to promote their pro-amnesty agenda.

Led by the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce, the Sutherland Institute and the Mormon and Catholic churches, a small group of Utah Compact enthusiasts reaffirmed their support of the Compact on November 11, 2011.

The Utah Compact's primary purpose is to provide employers with a large, low cost, easily exploited workforce. It is also seen as a means for expanding the active membership of various religious organizations. In order to do this, Compact supporters focus on providing amnesty for illegal aliens.

The Utah Compact was originally introduced and signed on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month (Veteran’s Day – 2010) in spite of the fact that America’s major veterans’ organizations strongly oppose illegal immigration and all forms of amnesty for illegal aliens.

According to the American Legion’s official policy on illegal immigration:
