    Video: Mathews Inteview w/ J.D. Hayworth on 'Hardball', 2/18

    Chris Mathews interviewed J.D. Hayworth, who is challenging Sen. John McCain for his Arizona Senate seat, at length on MSNBC's "Hardball "last night (12/18/10).I thought it was surprisingly objective for Mathews, and Hayworth presented himself very well. Sen. McCain also has been invited to appear when he is able. Video below:

    Thanks for posting Texas2step, I enjoyed watching, was alittle shocked at Matthews so called stand on illegal immigration first time I have heard that!

    I enjoyed hearing the interview, and was also surprised at Chris Matthews' views on illegal immigration. J. D. did well.

    i was also surprised by Matthews and his views on illegals.
    JD is right, if you make it hard for illegals to be here, they will leave on their own

    Yes, it's called Attrition Through Enforcement and it works. No mass deportations are needed. As JD said, that's a strawman argument put forth by our opponents.
