    Thanks! Nice to hear. The tide is turning, just hope it is enough. Don't let up - this bill has to be stopped!

    BTW, I still think it is out of step to say this "splits" the party unless you call 95% on one side and 5% on the other a "split."

    Can anyone point to a Thomas link on the amendment Newt references
    which reaffirms the sanctuary policies for counties & cities? Who was
    the member who proposed it?

    One thing does bother me - Newt is saying Bush is "genuine" or whatever. BS! His intentions are not honest or patriotic.

    Funny, I haven't heard anything about Bush's poll numbers lately. I want to see that it is in the teens.

    "sanction cities and counties not asking if you are illegal"? This is why I despise the common usage of "sanction." The media dunderheads have misused it so much it means either to approve or disapprove - it has become meaningless. The context of Newt's phrasing must mean they approve the actions of these sanctuary cities, but it is rather vague because it is the third incomplete train of thought he has jumped to quickly.

    Either way I don't know the answer - just venting.
