I am here and reported in per Williams request to break the discussion up. My response to the concerns we all have with the voter fraud potential. No matter WHAT, we have to remember that WE are the ones who run this nation and WE can call and bombard these people, no matter who they are, and what got them in office.

This nation is about "We the people", and so long as we keep that in mind, we have the power to vote out and also call for resignations and investigations should one of these people, who are questionably voted in, goes awry in their jobs.

They are probably outnumbered by the fraudulent voters Let's face it, if it were not for the massive amount of voter fraud this election, Obama wouldn't stand a snowball's chance in Hell.

And if Mrs. Dole lost her seat, you can bet it was accomplished through the same tactics.

I'm telling you, I am SOOOOOOO freaking disgusted by what has gone on with this entire election it has literally worn me out.

All news reports said that it was the Black Panthers. There were posts earlier where the Panthers had stated they were not going to let anybody steal this election from them.

Has anybody heard any updates on the two bomb threats that cleared out a couple of polling places today? 1 was in WI, I can't remember where the other one was.

Spanish ballots ready-made for Obama votes in Oakdale, CA

Spanish ballots ready-made for Obama votes in Oakdale

OAKDALE -- Two Spanish-language ballots were premarked for Barack Obama at a rural Oakdale precinct Tuesday, causing election officials to confiscate and inspect all blank ballots there.

It was unclear how the ballots, the second of which was a replacement for the first, got the Obama markings before being handed to Hector Parra, the voter who requested them.

"It could've been a whole variety of things," said Lee Lundrigan, Stanislaus County's registrar of voters.

She speculated they were handed initially to English-speaking voters who marked the ballots for Obama and then returned them to poll workers in exchange for English ballots.

It's possible they were mixed up with unused Spanish ballots when they were given to Parra, she said.

Lundrigan said she didn't believe the ballots could have been tampered with at the county's election office.

"They're sealed when they leave us," she said.

Parra was the first voter to ask for a Spanish-language ballot when he walked into the River Oak Grace Community Church polling place about 9:20 a.m.

He was handed one and took it to the voting station. A moment later, he went to precinct workers for help. Because there was no designated translator working at the time, the precinct's staff asked if anyone in the crowded room could speak Spanish.

Sylvia Moreno volunteered to translate. She said Parra didn't understand why the ballot he was given had been marked.

"He was going to vote for Obama, but it was already filled in for Obama," Moreno said. "He just wondered why."

Moreno explained the problem to precinct workers, who took Parra's ballot and put it among the spoiled ballots. Parra then was handed a second Spanish-language ballot.

"It was marked for Obama, too. It truly was," Moreno said.

Parra and Moreno reported the problem with the second ballot, and they didn't move from the time Parra was handed that ballot to when he handed it back to precinct workers.

"I was shocked," said Lynda Sesser, the precinct's election inspector.

Sesser said she was stunned to discover the otherwise-blank second ballot had been filled in for Obama the same way.

"It was an ink pen," Sesser said of the mark. "It was a little shocking. You don't expect ballots to come from the elections office like that."

I thought these were broken up, but I can't find the seperate threads.

First some background: Postsecret.com is a site where people send in postcards with secrets written on them. Check thos one out. (Warning, the comments are absolutely maddening.)

    http://www.postsecretcommunity.com/chat ... p?t=179655

The secret reads" I steamed open the Vote By Mail ballots from my office and kept the ones that votes Yes on 8."

That means this person stole ballots that didn't support his or her position of supporting gay marraige in California.
