LaRazza has led the Mexican population to believe they are above the law. I know some Hispanics who fit the profile outlined in these blogs who feel they will still be able to overcome and the American government will bail them out as well.

I saw an illegal Latino talking and crying into a microphone that no one cared she was losing her home. She was living in a house valued at $370,000. Her "reported income" was $23,000.

I must ask...does anyone realize those legal American citizens who live in houses valued at 1/3 or less... (some in mobile homes) will be picking up the tab for this insanity for multiple generations to come. The chances of legal citizens improving their plight in life will be nil to none.

Bush, Clinton, Bush and soon to be McCain/Obama administrations not only allowed this, but encourage this. Foolish ideologues are still out there in millions asking for more of the same. Illegal immigration is the tool used to accomplish the destruction of the unique middle class in America.

We simply have to admit to ourselves that if we vote in this same group - and that's either so called party - we are going to be tossed into the meat grinder.

We have been hoping against hope, pretending Republicans are the good guys for several decades now - and look where we are.

We are going down hill - faster and faster.

Can a third party be worse than what we have and will have with these two?

If we vote out everyone in office except maybe a half dozen, we will have accomplished something.

We can't continue doing what we have been doing and expect different results.

In response to your comment. I, like you, have in the past found my beliefs more in line with the Republican Party. But lately I have found that what I once thought was up is now down, and, what I was sure was down, is now up. These are strange and uneasy times for many. Those states hit the hardest by illegal immigration and job losses are searching for answers. I am in one of those states.

How do you know this family is illegal? I didn't read anything about that. I think this family is made up of legal immigrants and citizens.

First of all I don't think they would be drawing attention to themselves like this if they were illegals. ICE is actually doing it's job lately.

Also, My niece and her current husband wanted to buy a home a few years ago and when they found out that he wasn't a citizen they had to show a green card before they could get a loan anywhere.

I was educated to be a Republican by my Grandparents and parents.

My ideals are still the same, it's just that the party has left those ideals.

This is Texas and from what I understand we haven't been hurt quite as much as California, but we are suffering. Our state and local governments, for the most part, are still pretending they don't exist. It's that or sanctuary cities.

That's a good quote and it makes you wonder. ACtually, I stopped wondering when I decided the goal was not communism, but globalism. If you look at it in that light, you can see why they would promote some things. All these people think they are going to be among the elite when we are all surfs. I'm thinking some are in for a rude awakening.

My Mother used to tell me that 50 years ago and my eyes would glaze over. She was right - as Mothers often are.


bettsie I don't know if those particular people are legal or not, but the fact is that many, many illegals got home loans through HUD. I saw two different interviews a couple of years ago. Both HUD officicals said if even a fraction of the illlegals who had loans through HUD were to default, the program would be in jeopardy. One interview was front page of a large city newspaper.

They aren't hiding from the government - truly they are not afraid of being deported. They work, they get food stamps and use them, they go to the hospitals, they shop, the have bank accounts, they have car loans, they send their kids to school - they are not 'in the shadows' as some would have us believe.

Now legal or illegal - the loan was a disaster and should never have been made.

Been making my calls, and hoping and praying these senators will hear us.

I was watching Fox and they had Johnathen Koenig on there, he said this bill is nothing more than a band-aid, and will not fix the actual problems.

I have heard this before and that bailout or not we will likely be in a depression.

If this is so, I am glad we have learned to live within our income and by cash only.
