The SURGE is coming NOW! Using the President's new favorite term, I see apparent signs that the push for amnesty for illegal immigrants and destroy our fence project in Congress is coming very rapidly.

Mayors, governors, and congressmen have been going to Mexico one-by-one to communicate with Mexican officials. Government officials are parading on the border to give the impression that something (75 miles of fencing) is being done effectively.

Our emerging political candidates are defending the McCain Kennedy bill. Other politicans have been afraid to take a stance against the bill.

John McCain told the Irish in the Bronx:
“(This week) is a critical one. If we can get the bill through before we leave (for a two-week recess) that will be a major achievement.”

The Mexican government is sending their ambassador to the U.S.: "Determined to secure a migration accord, Mexico plans to begin an aggressive lobbying effort similar to its push to join the North American Free Trade Agreement, the country's new ambassador to the United States said Tuesday.

"Mexican consulates in the United States will be on the front lines of the effort, and will talk with state and federal lawmakers, business chambers, civic organizations and "all actors of U.S. society" who support a comprehensive immigration reform", Arturo Sarukhan said.

Congress has had months to observe citizens' reactions to the border crisis and other than a lot of polls, emails and phone calls, the controversy has predictably quieted to allow opportunity for a maneuver that will be a hard, concerted effort to override public opposition.

The controlled mainstream media is on their side and always has been.

What about Americans? Aren't we "all actors of U.S. society"? We are part of "U.S. society who DO NOT SUPPORT COMPREHENSIVE IMMIGRATION REFORM- AND THIS IS ABOUT 80% OF ALL AMERICANS!

I think you are absolutely correct. The president of Guatemala was in town here last Saturday talking to his citizens in this country telling them he was going to meeting with the pres. to tell him to pass amnesty and treat his citizens humanely

Shocked, thank you, it is true that they are most likely waiting for things to quiet down, and we need to bring on the noise, so they will not try any sneaky moves.

I also believe that they were making a lot of gestures before the elections, but now that most of them have their positions secured for a bit more, then they will show their real selves and motives.

Why don't they go to Mexico's government and tell them what to to with their people there? Why don't they go to Mexico and demand that their people get treated humanely while passing through Mexico?

Go to CNN/Lou Dobbs. He has links to start our letter writing campaigns. This is really getting old but this SOB known as our President needs to be sensored, impeached or something. At what point does this cramming illegals down our throats in the name of greed end?

Foreign governments should be telling us what our immigration policies should be. It is a shame when we let other governments give directions to our politicans.

What do you want to bet the President uses a pardon for Ramos and Compean as a payout to the American people while comprehensive immigration reform goes through Congress. It's his ace in the hole.

Dont' fall for that trick. Ramos and Compean should never have been sent to jail in the first place!
