Well, Paulson had one thing right.....there is more than enough blame to go around from irresponsible (criminal) figures on Wall St. to people who never should have taken out these loans.

Now....what is going to be DONE about it?

I think everyone would feel a lot better being guaranteed that people would be going to prison....no matter who they are!!!......and that those who should not have had those loans losing everything instead of being bailed out!!!

That's my problem.....bailing out criminals, businesses, and mortgage holders with no right to be holding mortgages in the first place. And definitely NO assistance whatsoever to IAs and funds going to special interests who will funnel it to them!!!

Exactly, they just want us to be like blind sheep and rush into this knee jerk decision without thinking about the consequences. It's like dating, would you rush into marrying someone without knowing who they are? If your a sane person of course you wouldn't. I bet these congress critters haven't even had time to read what's in this piece of legislation. It's like don't ask questions, just give us the money now. I don't think so. Unless it's life or death, you never rush a decision, especially as big of one as this.

When we call our reps we need to demand accountability and responsibility and that those responsible need to be hauled off to prison and their assets seized.

Paulson is stammering but still not answering Bunning's questions. Simply does not want to answer the credit card and other loan type questions.

I had no idea Paulson was a previous CEO at GOLDMAN SAKS!!!That explains alot!! LETS ROAR!!!!

They are all guilty. Don't let these politicians have you hoodwinked.

I'd like to ask about this:

Fannie Mae really WAS run right into the ground wasn't it? And guess what? It was DEMOCRATS who did it. Former Fannie Mae Chairman and CEO Franklin Raines was the White House budget director under Bill Clinton. He was also cited by the Washington Post as an economic advisor to...Barack Obama. Obama, in his very short time in the U.S. Senate also quickly became the second largest recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae, ahead of even John Kerry.
