who is the real Barbra boxer?

I have never had a good opinion about US senator Barbra Boxer since the check kiting scandal ("its none of the publics business what I did with that money" - that money from American taxpayers)

After reading several conflicting reports stating such things as she opposes HR 4437, but opposes illegal immigration I sent a letter asking her to clarify her position.

    Responce from Barbra Boxer:

Thank you for writing to me about illegal immigration. I appreciate hearing your views on this important matter.
Like you, I am concerned about the number of illegal immigrants who enter our country each year. I understand the impact that illegal immigration has on our nation and our state. We must greatly increase our efforts to secure our borders, and I support the funding necessary to do so. To this end, I voted for S.Amdt.516 and S.Amdt.487, which would increase funding for border security and provide for additional border patrol agents.
I am also committed to making our nation more secure by eliminating tunnels that provide a direct passageway into the United States for illegal narcotics, banned weapons, potential terrorists, and others who would be stopped at a port of entry. I am an original co-sponsor of the Border Tunnel Prevention Act, S.2355, which would enact stiff penalties for the unauthorized construction of such tunnels.
The federal government has an obligation to help states bear the financial costs associated with illegal immigration. I am a co-sponsor of S.188, a bill to authorize funds for the State Criminal Alien Assistance Program, which reimburses states for the costs of incarcerating illegal immigrants. This legislation passed the Senate on May 23, 2005.
I believe that immigrants who enter the United States legally make many valuable contributions to our great nation. I support legislation that seeks to regulate legal immigration according to the traditional American values of fairness and dignity for all.
Thank you again for writing to me. As Congress considers immigration reform, please rest assured that that I will support legislation aimed at stemming the flow of illegal immigration and helping states with the costs of illegal immigration.

    Barbara Boxer
    United States Senator

I must have missed the part about HR 4437
Does anyone know which side of our border she is really on?

You can check her voting record on immigration on numbersusa.com. I believe she supports amnesty for illegals. At least she responded, I have emailed, faxed and called both of my senators and they never acknowledge that I contacted them.

Neither of my senators or my congressman has ever responded either. I guess they just tally the calls/e-mails/faxes.

She is on the side of China

Her husband has a lot of very interesting contracts with China. And she owns 2 homes valued at more than 15 million each (if memory serves).
That would normally be a bit difficult, even for a Senator.

She is a globalist who favors Free Trade (i.e. slave trade/ American jobs going to China & India). However this year, Dem. Leaders may do some good things and stop the Republicans, who somehow are now to the LEFT of Kennedy.
Let's be brutally honest: THe Only thing that matters is when you force Politicians to STOP and PAY Attention to You. Its time to think about ways to do that.

Do not let that bother you, when they do respond, they do not really answer.

If they are unclear about their position, I guess that should make things clear.

    Wrong Senator.

    That's Feinstein you're thinking of.

Boxer's husband is a lawyer who specializes in suing school districts for non-compliance with laws Boxer votes for. Her son is a lawyer working to get an Indian casino built in what's termed an "environmentally sensitive area".

Her daughter married one of Hillary Clinton's brothers (not the fat one), but it didn't work out.
It's like hell vomited and the Bush administration appeared.

must have been the ugly one?

    - just kidding, I have never seen any of them.

But I thought pistol packing - anti - gun Diane Feinstein’s husband was one of the largest non-union, cheap labor contractors in California?

I have emailed and phoned the two California bimbos (Senators) every other day for 3 weeks. I vary which office I call and I vary which zip code I give them when their office flunkies ask for my zip. Both are pro illegal immigration because they see the Hispanic voters as a big and powerful future for their party. The Republicans feel the same way. That's why it won't really matter which party gets the majority, they both want the same thing -- Hispanic voters on their side, and at the expense of the rest of us. Although I consider other problems facing our nation as potentially dangerous to our future, the illegal immigration issue is the most pressing and it's the one that will have a life=changing impact on all of us. Not only a cultural shift but also overcrowding, paternalism, etc.

I saw some score card on one of the links that showed Boxer with a B- grade and Feinstein with a D in relation to illegal immigration. I try to appeal to Feinstein's love of California since she is a native. Boxer is originally from back East and really has no loyalty to any geographic area. She is purely self-serving. Feinstein might be the easier to sway when it comes to the future of the state, although she has no children, so she may not have any worries about the future.

In case you didnt hear the other day, Boxer is the little lady that is going to clean the "House" when she takes over as speaker of the house after the dems win the house back in nov. Don't get upset with me ladies, this woman made that comment herself on the house floor the other day, that since the men can't seem to clean up their act, she supposed it would take a woman to clean the house! This is what we have to look forward to if the democrats sweep the polls, she will be in line for that job! I am sure that must be a great comfort to everyone right?
