    One hand washes the other?

    I just heard on the Radio that congress is nearing a war spending bill that has no time tables and such.. similar the the one Bush wanted all along. You think the Republican Senators and Congressmen made a behind the scenes deal. We support Amnesty and you give a war spending bill Bush can sign?

    No, I think they did it to try and get the bill past the President's veto.

    There are a couple of strings attached.......Bush has to make periodic reports to congress on progress..........and they DO CONTROL the purse strings.
