What in the hell is wrong with Ohio !?!?!

    Ok,

First of all, today we endorsed A. Goat as the write in for the Ohio Senate race because each of the three candidates running is for Guest Worker Amnesty.

    Announcement

I'm talking with some people in Ohio and both US Senators are on our blacklist for supporting S. 2611 and 9 of their 18 house seats are on the blacklist for voting against the enforcement bill in the house!

Now, check out this lame voter guide from a newspaper in Ohio.

Anyone care to explain what in the hell is going on in Ohio for us?

    ------------

The question they posed to each one: Should Congress provide a way for immigrants who are here illegally to become citizens?

    USHouse District 9
Bradley Leavitt (R) "No. There are currently 12 million illegal immigrants, 7.2 million are employed and taking American jobs illegally, the others are leaching off of our money and resources. We need to make it hard to live here."
March Kaptur (D) "No. Congress should only deal with people who are here legally. Humanely, they should be returned to their country, and no country should be given prioity."
    US HOuse District 10
Dennis J. Kucinich (D) "Yes. Those who are here and working should be allowed a path toward citizenship.:
Mike Dovilla (R) No. We are a nation of immigrants -- and laws. Our currently broken immigration systems needs comprehensive reform that will allow immigrants now contributing to our eonomy to continue to do so legally while strengthening our borders."
    USHouse District 11
Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D) "Yes. They should develope a comprehensive approach that gives priority to border security, legal applicants already in the pipeline and (the) enforcement of existing statutues."
Lindsey String (R) "Yes. Before deportation, it is possible to process (on) a case-by-case determination."
    USHouse District 13
Betty Sutton (D) "I support legislation introduced by Sen. McCain that provides a process for undocumented immigrants currently working in the US to adjust their status and work legally after paying a significant fine and passing a background check."
Craig Foltin (R) "As mayor of Lorain, we have many immigrants in our city and they are good and hard-working people, and I think we need to help them in their efforts to comply with our laws and become citizens."
    USHOuse District 14
Steven C. LaTourette (R) "I remain firmly opposed to amnesty and don't believe Congress should reward illegal behavior. Our first priority must be to secure the borders."
Lewis R. Katz (D) "First secure our borders. STop illegal immigration by making sure that employers hire citizens and people here legally. I oppose guest worker statue. I oppose amnesty but avor legalization for some after an extended period."
Werner J. Lange (I) "Absolutely. Lady Liberty says give me your poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free, I lift my lamp beside the golden door. I agree with teh welcoming Lady, not the xenophobic tramps."
    USHouse District 16
Ralph REgula (R) "Cannot say yes or no. "It should be done on a case by case basis. I'm against blanket amnesty. There needs to be a mechanism that looks into these cases."
Thomas Shaw (D) "A simple yes or no will not solve the legal immigration problem. It will take hard work, negotiation and compromise to reach a fair decision."
    USHouse District 17
Tim Ryan (D) "Yes, if we first seal the border and keep illegals from coming in. It does not make any sense for a path to citizenship for some when we know more are coming."
Don Manning (R) Did not respond to any Plain Dealer questions.

I asked the same question a year or more ago when I read Ohio has its own Patriot Act worse than the original. Perhaps its something in the water.

The small town I was born and raised in So. Ohio, was and is, very Democrat...they wouldn't vote for anything other than Party lines....the town is now dead, no businesses, nothing!

If other small towns are like my hometown, they will continue to vote party lines...when a town is dead, no one "emigrates" to it..so they have no idea of the problems, and as far as I know, do not discuss them.
Do not vote for Party this year, vote for America and American workers!
