Herman Cain is running on three numbers: 9-9-9.

“Nine percent corporate business flat tax, nine percent income flat tax and a nine percent national sales tax,â€

This means the working middle class gets stuck paying more again.The rich and corperations pay less.Dont worry about SS he wants to do away with that anyway.Most people that draw SS dont make enough to pay taxes on now,so whats he accomplishing.We pay more again.

The good thing about Herman Cain's 999 plan is that the payroll taxes taken out of your check go way down.

Just like my dad and mine and your father in law that dont make enough money on what they draw from retirement and SS.to live on.So they pay more from what little they get so big rich people pay less on what they have like Cain himself.Most of the 47% is elderly that have worked long and hard that still with retirement and SS dont make enough to file taxes.

Here I'll go first!

There should be exemptions for social security income, groceries and medications. Otherwise, the elderly would have a really hard time getting by. The sales tax would be in addition to local sales tax, in some places tax could be 20%, depending on local rates. Plus, there's nothing to keep the feds from raising the rate, especially with a progressive/Marxist in office.
