Each day, California adds 1,655 people, net gain, to its population. That horrific human overload stems from legal and illegal immigration. California stands as the most immigrant dominated state in the country. At 38 million in 2012, it expects to add 20 million people by 2040. Most of them immigrants and their children.

The Sierra Club should be one of our allies. Unfortunately a previous president of the Club equated concern about overpopulation with racism. So the Club now is concerned with *global* overpopulation, but not with overpopulation in the state where the Club was founded.

This is not the California I grew up in. Blink and American signs go down and foreign signs go up. If you want American in California you have to go to the foothills and mountains.
