I never noticed who was the President of Mexico in the past, but that has changed since 9/11. We don't need someone that is anti-American making unholy alliances with our enemies.
And it would be nice to have a President in Mexico that provided for the welfare of the citizens of Mexico instead of sending them across the border"Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it" George Santayana "Deo Vindice"

There are how many Mexicans? I think something like 150 million, so that means many MILLIONS MORE could come here -- especially if they have another corrupt and loony president.
Which reminds me of something I've been wondering.....just curious.....but I personally don't quite know how to feel about people living legally or illegally , here, and being able to vote for people in another country, unless they are here temporarily. Isn't that also a way some group can destroy us from the inside , out?Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Crazybird, are you referring to the Iraqi's who are here and voted in the Iraq election? If so, yes, that seemed a very strange thing to me, too.
And that's precisely why I say we need to look at the big picture. Illegal immigration sucks, and so do many other things that have been happening within our nation. Everything is interrelated, IMO.<div>Want some ICE with that cervesa?</div>

Yes that is one example. There's Mexicans here who will vote at Mexicos elections. And I'm sure just about anywhere else on the globe. I can understand it if they are here TEMPORARILY, like in college and intend to go back and live in their homeland. I don't if they're here and intend to stay here.
What if all these immigrants from Mexico vote there and here? By sheer numbers, and we'll say even legally....Mexico could end up ruling us down the road if they continue to allow them to vote in both countries.
I just don't agree with this dual-citizenship when it comes to voting for elected officials in both countries. I just see it as something that could easily overthrow a government by sheer numbers when people can come in massive numbers and basicly take over from the inside out.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

A lot of people have this idea about making Mexico America's welfare country. I'm sorry but that just sounds like throwing good money after bad. Mexico's government is so corrupt that any money we send to Mexico will not go for the betterment of the country and instead into the hands of the cartel, gangs and politicians. The Mexican "revolutionaries" in America need to head south. We can not fix this for them. They must stand on their own or else they will be dependent on us until Heck freezes over.

Has someone suggested sending money to Mexico? Not me. I'm just saying that Mexico is headed to socialism and I think that will lead to more illegals coming here. Additionally, it means we'll have a hostile government as a neighbor. I guess I'm extremely concerned about the ramifications, and as another post states, they have dual citizenship which means they have no real loyalty to US. They could vote for the socialist in Mexico and they could vote out a pro-America candidate -- then we're down the toilet as a sovereign nation. This is a huge dilemma, but all I've heard on TV lately is about 90% pro illegal amnesty with a guest worker program and about 10% on our side. Too many Americans are apathetic. We're swimming against the current.
Does this happen to you? When I go to forward a pro-America, anti-illegal message to my email list, I only have a few people I can send it to because so many other people here (California) that I know -- including family members -- just don't want to hear about it.<div>Want some ICE with that cervesa?</div>
