Gross Federal debt is more than $8.7 trillion, which would make a stack of dollar bills that would reach from the Earth to the Moon and back with some to spare.

$8.7 trillion in one-dollar bills would cover an area larger than each U.S. state except for Alaska and Texas.

Hard to fathom and they are spending every bit of it with nothing to back it up........and unemployed citizens and minimum wage workers aren't going to be able to pay enough taxes to come close to covering this......

Too bad we can't seize the assets of the corrupt. That would make a 'big' dent if not pay it off entirely.

Well, 1 Billion dollars is one thousand million dollars right? So, if you put 1,000 small tables in Yankee stadium and put 1 million dollars on each table then that would be one thousand million dollars right? So when does it go from Billion to Trillion? Nine hundred and ninety nine thousand million plus one million right = one trillon. So put nine hundred and ninety nie thousannd tables in Yankee stadium with a million on each equals almost one trillon? Missing one table with a millon?

No wonder the system is so screwed up up I mean who can even figure out what a trillion is LOL!
