Thread: What is up with Google and ALIPAC ?

OK, can anyone explain this?

I regularly do Google searches on the terms ALIPAC and "Americans for Legal Immigration" in quotes to see what is out there about us.

Over the last few days when I search on either one of those terms Google will only show me 10 results or just one page of results.

This is not the case when I search on other organizations. They still show the hundreds upon hundreds of matches.

Anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is it the same for you when you search?

I know that when i searced illegal immigrants MRSA, I saw the posting that I made on that subject and at least one more under Alipac

Google search for "Americans for Legal Immigration" only 5 hits
"ALIPAC" brought up several pages...???

did a Yahoo search for "illegal Immigrants" there are over 25 pages. FR showed up on page 6 I did not find an ALIPAC Link until page 11 it was #109.

Yea, we fluctuate on Yahoo. This Google thing is strange. It is like a setting has changed or something. Ive written them to inquire about this.

This PM when I get in I am going to post a of our articles in some of the forums under a heading of illegal immigrants see if that chnges it.

I just did a search for legal immigration on goolgle and ALIPAC came up number 4 out of 12,200,000 results. Illegal immigration is not showing up ALIPAC

The problem im talking about is this. I usually do a google search on the entire term Americans for Legal Immigration and I put that in quotes for an exact match.

Usually I get over 18 pages of results. Now when I do it, Google is only showing me one page of results and it will not show me all of the others.

This is not happening when you do the same for other organization names in quotes.

Yes, Google does do too much censorship.

When you do a search, look at the bottom of the page and you will get

In order to show you the most relevant results, we have omitted some entries very similar to the 5 already displayed.
If you like, you can repeat the search with the omitted results included.

If you click on the link it will show all the results. they do this sometimes especially if the search results are huge or show the same web site.
