I got 2,220,000 hits for Americans for Legal Immigration, and 88,800 hits for Alipac.
Looks about normal to me.When we gonna wake up?

I don't know how Google works their search engine. Egomaniac that I am, a couple weeks ago I did a Google word-search on myself, "Ace Backwords," and there was over 1,000 entries (plus another 300 that were mispelled under "Ace Backwards" with an "a"). Then, a couple days ago, it was down to around 400 entries. It could just be a mechanical thing they're going through.

Folks, I've mentioned this in another sticky thread...
Google will be a hard one...
Trying to do a link "flood" across many pages across many websites...
WILL RESULT IN A REDUCTION IN PROMINENCE IN GOOGLE
Google's alogrithms agressively look for quantity flooding of linkage related to a single site and reduce its ranking...Google tries to emphasize "quality" in linkage...
- Persistent
- Clicked day in and day out
- Used by many unique visitors
- Survive over a year or more with all of the above
Yahoo is easy
- Use title tag
- Use meta description
- Use meta keywords
- Use selective but non-repetitive keywords in first paragraph.
Google is hard but
- Get point across with selective non-repetitive keywords in first paragraph.
- Also use title and meta tags
- DO NOT USE A FRAMED WEBSITE
and for campaigning purpose...
- Mirror a few Alipac pages and articles over several websites...BUT...vary the title and meta tags somewhat...and vary the focus of the websites in general. Also vary the linkage wording.
For Example:
Site A = www.alipac.us
Main Page = www.alipac.us/welcome.html
title tag = Americans for Legal Immigration
meta descriptions = Americans for Legal Immigration - Help Fight Illegal Immigration
meta keywords = illegal,immigration,Americans,Licenses,Legal,alien s,terrorists,immigrants,security,
border,patrol,congress,senate,campaigns,gangs,Pres ident,Republican,Democrat,
Drugs,Laws
Focus Article 1 = www.alipac.us/helptancredo.html
(repeat something similar like above)
Focus Article 2 = www.alipac.us/supporttheminutemen.html
(n+1)
Focus Article 3 = www.alipac.us/glendalemarch.html
(n+2)
Site A = www.someoneelseswebsite.net
Main Page = www.someoneeleseswebsite.net/index.php
Title Tag = Someone Elses Website About Illegal Immigration
Meta Description = Someone Elses Website About Monitoring and Stopping Illegal Immigration
Meta Keywords = borders, language, culture, legal immigration, illegal immigration, immigrant diseases, illegal alien crimes
(Notice how the title, and metas have a different focus...)
Paragraphs of main page should not be a duplicate of anything Alipac has.
At Someoneelses site, don't link...but mirror the pages...
HOWEVER...
Change the name of the files a little....
Change the title and meta tages a little....
Reword them a little...so that you are really reporting what Alipac is reporting...
DO provide the link to the original articles = Alipacs articles...but make sure the TITLE of your links are not the same as Alipacs link TITLE pointing back to their sources.
In other words, Site A will call a link "abba"....Site B will call it "dabba" and Site C will call it "dooo"....but all three will link to the same thing.
In short....with Google...if everyone tries to say the same thing...show the same thing...highlight the same thing...and use the same title...and use the same exact link title...
Google will think you are trying to spam search engine index-wise.
=
Visit Rense....notice how he merely creates his own pages on his website of someone elses material - but does provide links back to the original source.
=
Yahoo is easier...Not serious about illegals, outsourcing and insourcing? Wait until magicians pull illegals out of their hats...

The problem I was having with Google has vanished, but many of these suggestions are good stuff.
If anyone with any expertise sees any specific changes we can make on our site or things that they can do out their on the web to help us increase and optimize our presence, we would appreciate such assistance.
