I think it boils down to people either too lazy to get up off the couch or
too afraid they'll be called racist, so the other guys win by sheer numbers

Yah the main thing is most Americans are still in denial. They want to ignore everything political and if it doesn't effect personally in an obvious way their own life they rather pretend its in another country.

I just talked to an old friend of mine today. Trying to get them to look at NumbersUSA and ALIPAC. Asked them if they knew anything about the Dream Act and all she said is she knew it was voted down. She had no clue it would grant amnesty to 2 million children ages 16-34 but also double as amnesty for anyone who applies. She had no clue about Agent Terry's death besides just a border agent killed by an illegal. She said "I wish there was something I can do but I can't do anything".

This is the attitude we need to fight against. Wake more people up and show them they can do something even if they can't get up and travel at a moments notice to DC or even their local capital. Simple as telling friends, reading information on the net, seeing which candidates are for and against what with illegals, and see a candidates voting history. Plus always click of a button net fax's that take 30 seconds to fill and send.

We tell our friends, our friends learn a bit and then tell there friends and so on. I think this is one of the bigger battles, teaching people they can be involved and don't have to be a no lifer lobbist always traveling.
