White supremacists robocall voters for Donald Trump in Iowa

Two well-known White supremacists have joined the growing number of figures in support of Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump.

The Daily Beast pointed out the existence of robocalls designated for registered voters in Iowa over the weekend from American Renaissance’s Jared Taylor, Rev. Donald Tan, and William Johnson. Taylor and Johnson are both known White supremacists.

Towards the end of the call, Johnson reveals it was paid for through the American National Super PAC and was not authorized by Trump.

“The American National Super PAC makes this call to support Donald Trump.‘My name is Reverend Ronald Tan, host of the Christian radio talk show program For God and Country. First Corinthians states:

God chose the foolish things of this world to shame the wise and God chose the weak things of this world to shame the strong. For the Iowa caucuses, please support Donald Trump. He is courageous and he speaks his mind. God Bless.’

‘I’m Jared Taylor with American Renaissance. I urge you to vote for Donald Trump because he is the one candidate who points out that we should accept immigrants who are good for America. [pullquote]We don’t need Muslims. We need smart, well-educated white people who will assimilate to our culture. Vote Trump.’[/pullquote]

‘I am William Johnson, a farmer, and a white nationalist. Support Donald Trump. I paid for this through the super PAC. [Telephone] (213) 718-3908. This call is not authorized by Donald Trump.’”
Taylor has spoken out for Trump in the past. In August, he wrote an op-ed that declared Trump was the “last hope for a president who would be good for white people.” He also called Trump’s idea to pause the green card process for immigrants a wonderful thing.

Trump’s fans stretch from NFL player Tom Brady to former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. His supporters have also been accused of displaying anti-Semitic behavior during his rallies. Speaking with The Daily Beast, writer and far left supporter Richard Spencer called the candidate an interesting addition to the race and an “ideological icebreaker.”

    The Daily Beast reports:

“[W]hat I think he’s done is that he’s delegitimized—and I think he’s to a degree he’s humiliated—mainstream conservatives, the elite of the GOP, and certainly the kind of fuddy-duddy conservative movement types, the National Review,”
Spencer told The Daily Beast at the time. “He’s delegitimized them, he’s humiliated them, and I think that opens a space for someone else… it’s not so much Trump per se. It’s not like we think he’s going to save the world. It’s like we finally felt like we’re breaking through, that something’s breaking out, and what comes after Trump is going to be interesting.”

Hope Hicks, Trump’s spokeswoman, has yet to release a statement regarding the endorsements or robocalls.

I'm sure if you checked into it there are all sorts of supremacists with many different colors of skin and cultural backgrounds on both sides of the political spectrum making calls and doing other things to elect their candidate(s).

That's so true Mayday. The NAACP and NCLR and CAIR and all the race and ethnic organizations are calling on their own behalves. It would be nice if everyone called on behalf of all Americans and our country. Maybe one day that's the way it will be, like it was supposed to be all along.
