Senator Boxer's response to E-Verify being gutted from SB
Same BS...
Dear Mr. XXXXXX:
Thank you for contacting me regarding H.R.1, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. Specifically, you were interested in amendments to this bill requiring that any job created under the stimulus plan be verified through the E-Verify program.
Congress recently passed H.R.1, and it was signed into law by the President on February 17, 2009. There is a very simple, urgent reason for this bill: We need to save jobs and we need to create jobs. We need to act quickly and boldly because at the rate we are shedding jobs, we are heading into deeper economic turmoil.
In the end, only legislation whose specific aim is job creation was included in the economic recovery package. Although H.R.1 does not contain provisions regarding the E-Verify program, it takes important steps to aid struggling American workers and create jobs.
In addition, the House of Representatives is currently considering H.R.662, which would reauthorize the E-Verify program for five years. Should this or similar legislation come before the
Senate, be assured that I will keep your views in mind.
Again, thank you for writing to me. Please feel free to contact me again about this or any other issue of concern to you.

The Language of HR 662 is in regards to the "Basic Pilot" wich E-Verify replaced. "E-Verify" is not mentioned at all in that bill.
There have been improvements to E-Verify like photos and immigration status and dates...
Boxer is pushing the old "Basic Pilot".
Don't let them scam you on this!

Just another one of the usual "don't worry, we got it covered" type of responses from a legislator, whose staff probably didn't bother to pass on citizens' concerns but wrotes answers about how wonderful everything will be by following the road Sen. Boxer is promoting.

Let the Democrats pay for it!
The Stimulus bill as it applies to the American people, is like paying 1 trilion dollats for a cup cake that costs $1.50. Let the Democrats aka Communist pay for it since they and their "Special Interest" favorites are the only one's that will benefit from it.

He said Obama could not change any of the trade agreements with foreign countries because they have been in place to long and they are to complicated....He said in most of the trade agreements all America was allowed to trade was commodities and Labor, I was shocked and pissed....He said he was not sure about NAFTA as he was not involved in those but he helped years ago write the trade agreement for China, India Japan, ETC.
I was so pissed when I heard this.....He was Indian from India, name is Jagdish Bhagwati economics Professor from Columbia University....and if this is what we have teaching our children, this country is in bigger trouble than I ever imaginedPlease support ALIPAC's fight to save American Jobs & Lives from illegal immigration by joining our free Activists E-Mail Alerts (CLICK HERE)
