I constantly hear people refer to the Attorney General as the Top Cop of the country. The POTUS is the top law enforcement officer. The POTUS can bring charges to your door. If he can't charge people with a crime, why does he have the power to pardon crimes? Be advised I am talking about federal crimes, including the UCMJ.
