Why not allow noncitizens to vote in New York City elections?

    .
This question certainly focuses on a fundamental subject which deserves discussion and gets to the infectious worm at the root of the tree ____ noncitizens contaminating and directly influencing the privilege of voting in the United States.

To put the question another way, if foreign nationals are allowed to vote in NYC elections, then what is the reasoning to not allow foreign nationals to likewise vote in all other political jurisdictions, state and federal?

Of course, another question which must be explored is, by allowing foreign nationals to vote in New York City elections, would their vote introduce a contaminating effect and consequences for American citizens living outside the political jurisdiction of New York City, in addition to citizens living within the political jurisdiction of New York City?

Keep in mind the wisdom of Justice Douglas . . . when acts of corruption infect an electoral process in one state “they transcend mere local concern and extend a contaminating influence into the national domain”
___ Justice DOUGLAS in United States v. Classic (1941)".

They should not vote in any of our elections.

Non-citizens are awarded the privilege of applying to come to our country and work legally. They are foreign citizens, they are not legal U.S. citizens.

They work with a legal Visa. They earn a paycheck and pay taxes into the services they, and we all, use. EMTs, fire, roads, bridges, police, ER's, schools, etc.

They have not been approved for citizenship. They can vote back home where they ARE citizens.

We need to revoke the right and privilege to come here and end birthright citizenship.

This is destroying our country. Our citizenship must be applied for and earned. They are cancelling out the votes of the legal U.S. citizens in this country.

We owe these foreign citizens nothing, and certainly not the right to vote, nor the right to come here and work.

No one asked them to come here. They APPLY to come here. Quite frankly, I want them all sent back to their home countries and their Visa's revoked. We have our own citizens to put to work.

Go home, mouth off in your streets in YOUR country, and vote in your own country. This is out of control.

Send it to the Supreme Court, file lawsuits, and stop this damn Democrat party wrecking ball.

I heard someone say that all politics are local. That's reason within itself to stop "everybody" from voting.

Thumbs up Foreign, noncitizens, may dominate next election in New York City

The bottom line is, allowing 800,000 foreign nationals to vote in NYC, most certainly can allow foreigners to dominate NYC’s elections.

Keep in mind in NYC’s last election, Eric Adams won the Mayoral election with a total of 754,000 votes. Now tell me that allowing 800,000 foreign nationals to vote in local elections will not significantly dilute the vote of American citizens.

Why are so many so eager to allow foreign nationals to vote in our elections?

New York City residents deserve the crap-hole they are creating with their vote

    .
There certainly are consequences which the nitwitted NYC voters will and are paying.

See: Twenty top finance and tech firms in NYC are on the verge of leaving for Florida | Daily Mail Online

Also see: Eric Adams worried about wealthy New Yorkers fleeing city

And let us not forget how their princess, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, declared victory when she convinced Amazon to not build a second headquarters in NYC, and they lost 25,000 good paying jobs.

But the nitwits in New York City continue to elect these socialist/communist types and now have turned the vote over to foreign nationals.

The bottom line is these nitwits in NYC who constantly vote for the socialist/communist Democrat Party Leadership deserve everything that is coming their freaken way.

The Democrat Party Leadership, once an advocate for hard working American citizens and their families, is now their most formidable domestic enemy.

GOP grows spine, files lawsuit challenging noncitizens voting in NYC

    .

See: GOP sues New York City over letting immigrants vote in local elections

    January 10th, 2022

"The RNC, along with a group of New York Republican lawmakers and naturalized American citizens, claimed in their lawsuit that the new law – which would make roughly 800,000 foreign-born New Yorkers eligible to vote in local elections – conflicts with the state constitution and state election laws.

They also contend the measure, which took effect Saturday, “will dilute the votes” of American citizens and “cause an abrupt and sizable change to the makeup of the electorate.”

In reference to new measure “will dilute the votes” of American citizens and “cause an abrupt and sizable change to the makeup of the electorate”, our Supreme Court has emphatically stated:

“[T]he right of suffrage can be denied by a debasement or dilution of the weight of a citizen’s vote just as effectively as by wholly prohibiting the free exercise of the franchise.” Reynolds v. Sims, 377 U. S. 533, 555 (1964).”

And the noteworthy Joseph Story observed: “If aliens might be admitted indiscriminately to enjoy all the rights of citizens at the will of a single state, the Union might itself be endangered by an influx of foreigners, hostile to its institutions, ignorant of its powers, and incapable of a due estimate of its privileges.”

BTW the lawsuit can be found HERE

Why do so many object to noncitizens earning the right to vote by passing our nation's naturalization process which includes passing its Civics Test and taking our Naturalization Oath of Allegiance?

At the close of the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia on September 18, 1787, a Mrs. Powel anxiously awaited the results and as Benjamin Franklin emerged from the long task now finished asked him directly, `Well, Doctor, what have we got? A republic or a monarchy?' `A republic, if you can keep it,' responded Franklin.
