If vigilantism means taking the law into your own hands, we've already seen plenty of it.

We have many cities that have decided that US immigration law doesn't apply to them, and openly break it.

We have the Catholic Church actively working to break the law to aid and import illegals.

We have other churches harboring fugitives and daring the US government to try and stop them.

We have businesses breaking the law every day of the week by hiring illegals in place of US citizens.

So yes, vigilantism is rampant all across the US.

The illegal aliens and the advocacy have determined for themselves, and by themselves that our laws are not adequate. They seek their perception of "justice" by violating and advocating the violation of our law.
