Will Republicans Have To Compromise On the Dream Act?

The Democrats and the Republicans will be debating the Dream Act.

I don't want anything in the 'Dream Act' to be agreed on, because every bit of it will have detrimental consequences for Americans. And I sure don't want any compromise by the Republicans in order to appease the Democrats and the illegal aliens aka voters.

This is what worries me......Will the Republicans agree to compromises during the debate? If so, on what part/parts of the Dream Act will they compromise?

They had better not compromise on anything. Much of what has been done in the past few years needs to be reversed, repealed, overturned and burned as it is.

I would recommend to Republicans that they remember we aren't too happy with them either and they'd better listen to AMERICANS, not illegal aliens and their supporters.

Millions more democrat, socialist voters? Better not......

Above all--no chain migration. It really isn't that a student can go to college that frightens me. It's that he can become a citizen and then sponsor all his third world relatives who will come here and suck social services dry. It is also that all those new Democratic voters will ruin the country.

I don't know why they would be in a position to need to compromise. Come January they and the conservative democrats should dominate both houses and the main resistance would be from liberal filibustering. Assuming they ever got organized well enough to actually do it.

We need to work on the conservative Dem Senators a bit more, so that any compromising in this lame duck session becomes even less likely.

The current establishment believes in compromise to accomplish goals during times of conflict. The inherent problem is the support of amendments and legislation that benefits the viewpoints of those not within the majority. The exemplifications of the United States Senate and House show falter and extreme bardus mentality.

There will be no further senate business until the tax breaks and funding the govt are finished , PERIOD

The repubs have shut down the senate until this is done , and they are far apart

Then it will be extending unemployment , getting rid of 1099 and the start treaty
