I am having a contractor from Lowes Hardware come over to measure for some flooring in an hour. He is a subcontractor sent by Lowes.

I will insist that his carpet installers are legal.....this may be interesting.....

Let us know how that turns out, jimpasz, OK? You might tell him that you will be checking the IDs of everyone, just so that you won't simply accept his agreement. Tell him everyone must speak English.

Installer just measured... got ca contractors numbers will check at gov web site.

Claims to be insured for liability

"workers are 100 % legal been with us for years"

Have no contract yet only payed for the measure.

Will have the contract reviewed by my PrePaid Legal Ca Law firm

I always fax contracts to them before signing....its included in membership
