    01/07/2006 "National Protest Day"

    January 7th, 2006 Declared as
    "National Protest Day" to
    "Stop the Invasion" of Illegal Aliens
    The call for a National Protest Day against illegal immigration, which originated with the Connecticut Citizens for Immigration Control, is spreading like wildfire to other organizations and areas of the country.

    Among the participating organizations are:
    CT Citizens for Immigration Control

    Massachusetts Coalition for Immigration Reform

    American Minutemen of Tennessee

    Minutemen Making a Difference, CA

    Mid-American Immigration Reform Coalition (MO, KS)

    Phoenix AZ Minutemen

    California Coalition for Immigration Reform (CCIR)

    Utah Minutemen

    FIRE Coalition

    NY Minutemen NYC LI Albany

    Lone Star Minutemen

    Chicago Minuteman Project

    Pennsylvania Minutemen

    New England Minuteman Association

    South Orange County Citizens for Immigration Reform

    I think we need to make that our day of protest in my home state of NC, too!

    I found someone to ride with me tomorrow so I will be at the protest in Tennessee tomorrow in front of the State Capitol Building. It's a six hour drive for me but well worth it to help these people out. I'll have pictures to post here when I get back. Wish us luck!
