2 DeKalb teachers resign for anti-immigration remarks after Trump win
Anti ILLEGAL immigration. They are not "immigrants", they are illegal foreign nationals using US resources. Immigrants petition for permission to enter and do so legally.

At Cross Keys High School, in the DeKalb County School District, 86 percent of the students are Hispanic or Latino. Many parents speak English as a second language, if at all.

- Comments were made in front of students and staff
Two DeKalb County teachers have resigned after making disparaging statements about illegal immigration, district officials said Tuesday.
According to district officials, Cross Keys High School teachers Diane Clark resigned effective Nov. 28 and Susan Petre resigned effective Dec. 1. Both resignations were "in lieu of termination," district officials said.
Both teachers were removed from their classrooms on Nov. 10 pending investigations into claims they made statements about illegal immigrants, tying it in to Donald Trump's presidential election, which took place Nov. 8.
Information from the district's investigations was not available Tuesday.
“In accordance with established protocol, we began an investigation on Thursday … when the allegations were brought to our attention,” district officials said at the time.
Several incidents nationally were apparently sparked after the businessman and reality TV star won the presidential election. A student in a Detroit suburb posted a video of other students chanting “build a wall” toward Hispanic and Latino students. A teacher in Owasso, Okla., was caught on camera complaining about voters after the election.
Anti-Trump protests also have taken place across the country, including in Atlanta, New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago, Los Angeles and other cities.
At Cross Keys, 86 percent of the students are Hispanic or Latino. Most of those parents speak English as a second language, if at all. The school was in the news recently after state officials announced last month that the school reported the third-largest graduation rate increase between 2015 and 2016. Principal Jason Heard said then that helping parents learn English was the key that sparked more parental engagement.

I would like to know exactly what statements were made. With the student population being 86% Hispanic I'm sure it was against illegals. I'm tired of being in the "wrong" for believing the law applies to everyone, that illegals DO NOT get to pick and choose which laws apply to them. As always their non-rights come before OUR inalienable rights.

Again, how did we get here and can we find our way back?
We got here because we allowed our government, from our own local officials to the president to protect and openly encourage this.
We got here because we continued to buy, read, and do business with advertisers of the so called media.
Churches, sorry folks, have played a role in the illegals being able to remain here. In that respect they have played a role in others coming.
Story-- I went to a rummage sale of a church. It was 4 pm on a Saturday, last day, lots of stuff left.
A young American Mother with 3 small children came up to one of the young women holding the sale and asked if they were reducing prices since it was almost closing time. She had a load of children clothing.
This young 'halo-polisher's' answer to this young Mother, whose children looked like they certainly could make use of the clothes she wanted to purchase surprised me and I'm not that easily surprised any more.
She said no that what didn't sell they were taking out to ----------. This was gated community, some houses, duplexes, etc., where the illegals of The Company lived, but with 'rents' being paid by the government. She said they were going to give the clothing to them.
Now this Church, would not only NOT give clothing to a young woman and her children who obviously could use it, she wouldn't even discount the price to her She would, however, in all her righteous wonderfulness give to illegals.
One year on our grandchildren's school supply list, at the bottom was a list of other things they needed to purchase in order to donate to others. This meant illegals, believe me. In fact, the local paper ran pictures and a story about all the free school supplies they received.
When the illegals caused accidents and had no insurance -or DL - and our insurance had to cover the loss, our insurance premiums skyrocketed.
We just kept voting in the same politicians that were working against us.
