Immigrants Arrested, Teenager Gets Angry

CORPUS CHRISTI - What began as an immigration raid ended with a woman at a home on the 2400 block of Marguerite Street threatening neighbors with a knife.

Neighbors said around 7 p.m. Wednesday evening federal agents detained five suspected illegal immigrants from the house.

After the arrests, a female teenager in the home came out and threatened her neighbors.

Police said earlier in the afternoon an anonymous caller said they had gotten into a fight with the people living in the house that was raided. Federal agents were advised that suspected illegals were living in the home and that lead to the raid.

Police were called back again after the teen made the threats.

"She thinks we are the ones that called them and she just came over her threatening that she was going to burn down the house and she was going to kill people. She did not say who," neighbor Joe Ayala said.
