28 illegal immigrants found in stash house

A traffic stop of an alleged smuggler led Border Patrol agents to a stash house in Mission, Texas.
The suspected smuggler, a Mexican national, was arrested during the traffic stop. The person admitted to being the caretaker of a stash house.

Border Patrol agents were able to obtain consent to search the residence and upon inspection, Tuesday night, they found twenty-eight individuals hiding in the house.

The illegal immigrants inside the small home were from Mexico, Guatemala, Honduras, Ecuador, and El Salvador. All of the individuals were taken to the Weslaco Border Patrol Station, the house caretaker was referred for prosecution.
