    Khoudiedia doesn't speak English, cannot read or write and when she missed a court date regarding her immigration papers, ICE was legally able to detain and deport her.
    Twenty years in this country and she can't speak English. So much for a desire to assimilate.

    Really, I was thinking the same thing!

    How does one get by in life for 20 years not speaking the host country language?

    This just tells she never had any intention ti assimilate into the American culture or become an American.
