It’s such a shame that politicians are more swayed by potential voters than those they swore to protect, defend, and represent.

Those they swore to protect, defend, and represent are in the bag. They are either Dems or Reps for the most part and have been counted as property of the respective plantation. The potential voter, legal or illegal will be sought after with vigor to the detriment of the plantation voter that has already been counted.

The run for the congressional seat in that northern NY district with a Conservitive giving the two party canidates a run for their money seems to shed light where light needs to shine. (cannot remember the canidates name, but he seems to be gaining attention) Edit: Doug Hoffman is the canidate that I was refering too that is causing such a stir.

We need Janet Napolitano FIRED!! She should never be allowed to do any state or government service ever again.

We know Obama is systematically pulling the teeth out of 287(g).

I say it once again... the Executive Office should not be in charge of all national security. DHS should not be under the President. Abuse of Power!

One-by-one Maricopa County Sheriff’s deputies placed their federal credentials into a bowl of ice, Thursday. The symbolic ritual comes as a form of protesting the decision of federal officials from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), to revoke MCSO's certification under the 287 (g) program.

"This is not a dog and pony show," Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said. "It's a symbolic type of thing."

Under the program, which originally granted power to local authorities to enforce immigration laws, 100 sheriff's deputies had been trained to arrest people suspected of being in the country illegally.

Under the new terms of the program, deputies are prohibited to arrest suspected illegal immigrants based solely on immigration status, while they must call ICE agents to perform those duties.

Meanwhile, Sheriff Arpaio continues to defy the new restrictions imposed by the Federal Government by openly pledging to continue his fight against illegal immigration, including the continuation of his controversial 'crime suppression operations."

Because he's shooting such large holes in the argument that it would be impossible to just start enforcing the law!
