Brownsville, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Veterans' International Bridge intercepted a woman for alleged violations of immigration law. The United States citizen allegedly attempted to facilitate a Mexican citizen's entry into the United States without valid entry documents. (more)
El Paso Sector Border Patrol Agents Seize 301 Pounds of Marijuana

El Paso, Texas - El Paso Sector U.S. Border Patrol Agents in New Mexico and Texas arrested three drug smugglers and seized 301 pounds of marijuana valued at $241,200 in two separate seizures Wednesday.In the early morning hours, agents assigned to the Border Patrol Horse Patrol Unit in Fabens, Texas, put their tracking skills to work by successfully apprehending two drug smugglers carrying 113. CBP in Vermont Reminds Boaters of Vessel Reporting Procedures

Derby Line, Vt.- U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in Vermont is again reminding individuals to process small vessel arrivals, including in-person immigration processing during this years boating season. CBP officers will be available to process boaters at Lake Memphremagog, to process small vessel arrivals, and the master or person in charge of the boat must report their arrival to CBP. (more)
CBP Officers at Presidio Port Seize 629 Pounds of Marijuana

Presidio, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers working at the Presidio Port of Entry seized 629 pounds of marijuana Wednesday. It was the most significant enforcement event for El Paso area CBP officers during a day in which they seized an additional 417 pounds of marijuana and 42 pounds of cocaine in five seizures, more than $85,000 in unreported currency in two cases, and made two NCIC fugitive arrests including a man wanted in connection with the deaths of two people in New Mexico. Border Patrol Agents Seize Meth, Marijuana, Heroin

Yuma, Ariz. - Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents seized $104,300 worth of methamphetamine, marijuana and heroin during three incidents yesterday.Blythe Station agents assigned to the Highway 95 checkpoint near Quartzsite referred a vehicle to secondary inspection where a canine team then alerted to the presence of drugs. 'Ready Lane' Opens at San Luis Port of Entry

San Luis, Ariz. - U.S. Customs and Border Protection's San Luis Port of Entry will have a dedicated lane for travelers entering the country with approved U.S. documents as early as tomorrow.Northbound travelers crossing through the San Luis Port will have the option of using a designated "Ready Lane" allowing those who have obtained an RFID-enabled card to reap the benefits of using a dedicated lane where CBP officers can expedite the inspection process.
